Shahi Paneer Recipe - Easy and Simple Shahi Paneer

Shahi Paneer - Full Recipe

Shahi Paneer is one of the favorite dishes which suites both the Veg and Non - Veg lovers. This dish is a treat for everyone and mostly matches with a veg fried rice or jeera rice combo. This paneer dish can be easily prepared at the comfort of our home and that too in the same restaurant-style. The gravy is quite creamy which adds to the extra butterish flavor to the paneer.

Ingredients - Required

Onion - 1
Tomatoes - 2
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/2 Tbs
Cardamom - 3
Butter - 3 Tbs
Water - 2 Glasses
Green Chilly - 1
Chilly Powder - 1 Tbs
Salt to Taste
Ginger - 1/2 Chopped
Paneer Cubes

Take one full onion sliced and once the oil is hot put the onion slices and start frying it with a low flame, now add the sliced tomatoes into it. Make sure that we take 2 Tomatoes to 1 Onion ratio if you are making any paneer dishes that's when we get the real creamy gravy. When it's partially cooked add ginger garlic paste and mix it really well. Once it starts turning brownish add cardamom powder which adds an extra healthy flavor to the dish.

Now its time to put some butter, add 2 tbs butter and once the butter partially melts pour 2 glass of water into to make it a proper thick gravy. After that add enough Chilly powder, but make sure you don't exceed a limit as shahi paneer is of creamy flavor rather than a spicy one, and also put enough salt to taste. Now close the lid and cook it for about 20 Minutes. Once it's cooked put the combo into a mixer jar and wait for it to cool down, after its cooled grind it properly till it becomes a thick gravy.

Now in the same pan put 2 tbs Butter, one green chilly sliced, 1/2 Ginger chopped and mix it well. And once this is done its time for the paneer, add the paneer cubes into it and wait until it properly blends with the butter. Now add the already prepared thick gravy onto the paneer and mix it softly without breaking the paneer cubes. So one final touch and our special Shahi Paneer will be ready to serve.

After blending it properly we have to off the gas stove and pour some fresh cream on top of the gravy, this gives an extra creamy punch to the dish, and it also acts as a garnishing flavor. So now our today's special dish "Shahi Paneer"  is ready to serve. It takes an overall 40 minutes of cooking time and can be easily made when we have any special guests at home. Paneer is always something to crave for everyone.
